Highlights of Bardiya National Park Jungle Safari

  • Observing Tharu culture in Park Museum.
  • Jungle safari inside Bardiya National Park.
  • Birdwatching in the early morning.
  • Jeep ride and exploring deep inside jungles of Bardia National Park.

Trip Introduction

Bardiya National Park is home to many plant and animal species. The park lies in the Terai region of Nepal. Bardiya Jungle Safari lets people inspect this place, rich in plant and animal species. With easy access from both roads and flights, Bardia Jungle Safari is a fun place to spend quality time.

The first day of the Bardiya National Park Jungle Safari involves a drive of 9-10 hours from the capital, Kathmandu. We travel on the banks of the Trishuli River and continue our journey to join the east-west highway. Thereafter, we travel west along the plains of Terai and reach the national park. But if one feels uncomfortable on a long drive, then one can choose a flight that leads to Nepalgunj. It only takes an hour to reach the National park from here. After we reach the place, we cheer ourselves with welcome drinks and take a deserved rest.

On the next day, we start our jungle walk inside the national park. Bardiya National Park has sections of grassland, savannah, and riverine forest. Because of different habitats and vegetation, the park is rich in biodiversity. There are 839 plants, 407 birds, and over 30 different mammal species in this park. On our walk, we meet vultures, swamp deer, blackbucks, and even endangered birds such as the Bengal florican. When we see such different animals in nature, our hearts will be full of joy. After the walk, we return to the lodge. After dinner, we rest for the day.

The third day of the Bardiya Jungle Safari involves a jeep drive safari into the park. The park is renowned for Bengal tigers and rhinoceroses. This place hosts the greatest number of these majestic creatures throughout the entire country. But spotting these creatures is not an easy task, as they live within the heart of the jungle. Jeep safari takes us close to these places where we can see the one-horned rhinoceros or Bengal tiger. We return to the lodge and end our safari tour.

We have capable field guides for bird watching and a jungle safari. And we know Bardiya National Park well. Also, we provide vehicles to ease the client’s mobility. Hence, we welcome all to enjoy the Bardiya National Park Jungle Safari – 3 Nights 4 Days.
