Trip Introduction
Chitwan Package tour 1 Night 2 Days is a short and perfect stop to spend quality time. This tour comprises sightseeing at Chitwan National Park and observing the local Tharu community. People with a short time can make the best out of their time by opting for the Chitwan Jungle Package Tour.
We arrive at Chitwan following a four-hour drive from Kathmandu. Welcome drinks and a cordial meal are accessible for us to fulfill our craving. After refreshment, they provide us with our room for the night. We refresh and revitalize ourselves, and later in the late afternoon, we head off to discover the place.
We start with a walk to Tharu village. These people represent seven percent of the Nepal population and are native to the southern belt of Nepal. People of the Tharu community have a dependent relationship with the forest. For these people, the forest is not only the source of food but also home to their spiritual beliefs and god. Their love and respect for the forest are reflected in their distinct culture and tradition. During the village tour of Tharu, we discover their special house, agricultural tools, and cuisine.
We now head to the elephant stable after our visit to the village. Elephants are the largest terrestrial mammals found only on the Asian and African continents. Elephant breeding center hosts these behemoths, but gentle creatures. We get to see elephants and their babies in the stable. We now head off to the sunset viewpoint, where we see the setting sun diminishing in front of our eyes.
After the sun sets, we return. We can enjoy dinner before or after an ethnic cultural program. The cultural program in the late evening shows the Tharu cultural dance. The participants perform dances as “Danda Nach”, “Mayur Nach”, and “Ago Nach”. We can take part in those dances and experience the Tharu culture. With the evening wrapped up, we now head to our bed and on the next morning leave to the next destination.
