The Tour Overview
Like most trips to Nepal, the tour begins in Kathmandu. The capital city is not just a hub of business and trade but is also famous for its cultural marvels and experiences of the Everest Mountain Flight (see video) and the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour (see video).
The valley alone houses seven of the ten world heritage sites in Nepal. Thus, some of the stops in the valley will be at these revered destinations. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath are the popular stops in the valley. Then, the trip heads to a popular viewpoint in close distance to the city, Nagarkot. It offers a grand panorama of the mountains in the Langtang and Jugal ranges from your room.
From Nagarkot, the tour heads west and flies from Kathmandu to Pohara, about a 40-minute scenic flight. Pokhara is perhaps the most famous tourist destination in the country. The Tal Barahi Temple, Davis Falls, and Gupteshwar Cave are a few popular stops in the valley. Also, the Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa lakes in and around the valley depict great natural beauty. Finally, there are popular hiking locations around Pokhara like Sarangkot, Dhampus, Pumdikot Shiva Temple, and World Peace Pagoda. Also, these viewpoints offer a sublime view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges along with Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m).
Many of our guests have been buying these packages and have had their lifetime experience celebrating their Honeymoon tour at the top of the world (8848.86m). Then, after the tour around Pokhara, you head back to Kathmandu.
In short, imagine this: hand in hand, you walk through colorful Kathmandu bazaars, dodging friendly rickshaws and bargaining for unique souvenirs. Later, you sail across the glassy surface of Lake Phewa in Pokhara, the mountains mirroring your love in their tranquil depths. Maybe you’ll even begin on a gentle trek, hand in hand, through rhododendron forests and charming villages.

Entrance fees of Heritage Sites of Nepal
Nepal is famous for its world heritage sites, tourist attractions, and monument areas. Tourism is the second-largest income source in the country. Entrance fees, national park fees, and climbing royalties are the backbone of the Nepalese economy. Foreign tourists visiting heritage sites, attractions, and monuments in the country have to pay a certain entrance fee to get inside the area. The people of South Asian countries (SAARC) have to pay fewer entrance fees in comparison to tourists from other countries. Many tourists want to see the typical Nepalese art and cultural places, happily paying the entrance fee because it is worth it to visit.
The seven heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley are amazing. Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Changunarayan have their own histories. They are not only rich in art and architecture but also fountain spiritual places of Hinduism and Buddhism. Most of the constructions have a tantric background and an old history. Not only the Kathmandu valley, but other parts of the country are also rich in nature and history. Lumbini (the birthplace of Gautam Buddha), Chitwan National Park, Pokhara, Nagarkot, and trekking trails are the main tourist destinations in Nepal and the main income sources of the country. It is the government that keeps the price of priceless monuments, which contributes to the economy of the developing country.
Please see the attached PDF file for the entrance fees for World Heritage and other attractions in Nepal.

The rail and road service can only be used by those arriving from India.
In terms of land transport, there are several land entry and exit points at the Nepal-Tibet and Nepal-India borders. All tourists visiting Nepal except those from India should have a valid passport and visa. An on-arrival visa to enter can be obtained at the Tribhuvan International Airport or any other land entry or exit points at the Nepal-Tibet and Nepal-India borders. However, if you are visiting Nepal from SAARC countries, you don’t have to pay visa fees, as a gratis fee or a free visa is applicable for 100 days.
